PayID and Other Ways to Deposit at Online Casinos
What PayID actually is
PayID is a feature of Australian bank accounts. Instead of handing someone a BSB and account number, you register a simple identifier with your bank, such as a mobile number or an email address. The payer types that identifier, the bank shows the name attached to it, and the money moves through the domestic banking system. Many banks complete these transfers within moments, although the speed depends on your bank.
PayID belongs to your bank, not to any casino. A casino can use it only if its cashier offers it, and that is the part you have to check yourself.
What we have and have not verified
Start with the honest picture. We have not verified which payment methods Kingmaker Casino, Casinova Casino, Cleobetra Casino, Betrepublic Casino or Betwest Casino accept, so we do not claim that any of them takes PayID. The cashier page, which you normally see only after registering, is the one reliable source.
What we can say about all five is this: the minimum deposit is 20 EUR, amounts are published in EUR, and none of them holds a licence from an Australian state or territory regulator or from ACMA. Kingmaker and Casinova hold a Curaçao licence, Cleobetra and Betrepublic an Anjouan licence. Betwest does not publish a gambling licence; its operator, Westbound Ventures Ltd, is a company registered in Costa Rica.
The main ways to deposit, defined
Each term below is explained once, so you can recognise it in a cashier.
- Bank card: a debit or credit card entered on the payment page. It is familiar, but card withdrawals are the slow route. At four of the five casinos they take 24–72 hours; at Kingmaker, 3–5 days.
- PayID or bank transfer: you send money from your own bank account, either to a PayID the casino shows you or to account details it gives you.
- E-wallet: an online account, such as Skrill or Neteller, that holds money separately from your bank. E-wallet withdrawals are the fast ones, between 0 and 24 hours depending on the casino.
- Cryptocurrency: digital coins sent from a wallet. Betwest states that e-wallet and crypto withdrawals take 0–24 hours.
A step-by-step deposit routine
Follow these steps in order, and stop at any step where something looks odd.
- Confirm you are 18 or older and that you are comfortable with the risk. Decide on a budget before you open the cashier.
- Register, then open the cashier or deposit page without paying yet.
- Read the list of methods. If PayID is not there, do not look for a workaround; pick another method you already understand.
- Check the minimum (20 EUR at all five) and see whether the page shows fees or a currency conversion.
- Before paying, tick or untick the welcome bonus box deliberately. Once the money is in, undoing the choice may not be possible.
- Pay, and save a screenshot of the confirmation and the transaction reference.
- Check that the balance has arrived. If it has not, contact support with the reference, not a second payment.
Euros, and what that means for your bank
All five brands publish their amounts in EUR. If your bank account is in Australian dollars, a deposit may be converted, and your bank or the payment provider may add a margin or a fee. We cannot tell you the size of that cost, because we have not verified it. Look at your statement after a small first deposit, rather than guessing.
It also helps to think in euros while you play. A welcome offer of €500 is not A$500, and a 20 EUR minimum will cost slightly more or less in your currency depending on the rate that day.
How your method can affect the welcome bonus
The most important fact on this page: deposits made with Skrill or Neteller do not qualify for the welcome bonus at any of the five casinos. If you are claiming an offer, an e-wallet deposit with those two services can leave you with no bonus at all, even though the money arrives normally.
Two other rules apply everywhere. Bonuses cannot be combined, and cancelling a bonus removes the bonus balance. Wagering terms differ, and our guide on how to read wagering requirements explains what 35x or 40x means in practice. Note also that the offers on this site are deposit bonuses; we have not verified any no-deposit bonus.
Deposit method and withdrawal method
Many casinos ask you to withdraw by the same route you used to deposit, but we have not verified this per casino. Treat it as something to check in the terms. This matters for the method you pick: if you deposit by card, you may wait 24–72 hours for a payout (3–5 days at Kingmaker), while an e-wallet payout can arrive within 0–24 hours, or up to 8 or 12 hours at some casinos.
Speed is not everything, though. The withdrawal guide on this site covers verification steps, which can add time whatever method you use.
Staying safe when you pay
- Type the casino address yourself or use a link you trust; never pay through a link sent in a message.
- Never share your online banking password or card PIN. A genuine cashier does not ask for them.
- Do not pay a stranger who offers to deposit for you.
- Keep gambling money separate from rent and bill money, and set a deposit limit if the casino offers one.
Because none of these casinos is licensed in Australia, you would not have a local regulator to turn to in a payment dispute. If gambling is causing you stress, call Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858, and consider BetStop, the national self-exclusion register. Our responsible gambling page explains the warning signs. Gambling is for adults only and never guarantees winnings.
Casino Guide Editors
Independent editorial team
Updated: October 2026
We are an editorial team that compares online casinos for Australian readers. We read each brand's published terms, note what is stated and what is not, and write guides like this one so beginners can follow every step without guessing.
How we checked:
We compared each casino's published offers, licence details and payout times, and marked anything we could not verify, such as payment methods, instead of assuming it.
This site earns a commission when you register through some of our links. That does not change our scores or what we write about a casino. You must be 18 or older to gamble.
Deposit questions, answered
Do these casinos accept PayID?
No, not as a fact we can give you. We have not verified payment methods per casino, so we do not say any of the five accepts PayID. Open the cashier after registering and read the list there.
What is PayID in simple terms?
PayID is a bank feature that lets you receive or send money using a mobile number or email address instead of BSB and account details. The casino does not control it; it only works if the cashier lists it.
What is the minimum deposit?
All five casinos set the minimum deposit at 20 EUR. Amounts are published in EUR, so the cost in Australian dollars changes with the exchange rate on the day, and your bank may add its own fees.
Can I claim the bonus when depositing with Skrill or Neteller?
Not for the welcome bonus. At all five casinos, deposits made with Skrill or Neteller do not qualify for it. The deposit itself may go through, but you would receive no bonus, so use another method if you want the offer.
Which deposit method gives the fastest withdrawals?
E-wallets are the fast route. Payouts take 0–24 hours at Kingmaker and Betwest, up to 8 hours at Cleobetra, and up to 12 hours at Casinova and Betrepublic. Card payouts take 24–72 hours, or 3–5 days at Kingmaker.
Will I pay in euros or Australian dollars?
The brands publish their amounts in EUR. If your bank account is in Australian dollars, a conversion may happen, and a fee or margin may apply. We have not verified those costs, so check your statement after a small first deposit.
Are these casinos licensed in Australia?
No. None of Kingmaker, Casinova, Cleobetra, Betrepublic or Betwest holds a licence from an Australian state or territory regulator or from ACMA. Each holds a different licence or, in Betwest's case, publishes none, so you would have no local regulator to appeal to.
Can I change my mind about the bonus after depositing?
Bonuses cannot be combined at any of the five, and cancelling a bonus removes the bonus balance. Decide whether you want the offer before you pay, because a deposit made with the wrong method may not count.
Is there a no-deposit option for trying a casino?
Our offers are deposit bonuses. We have not verified any no-deposit bonus at these casinos, so there is no free-money route for a first payment. Your first real deposit must be at least 20 EUR.
What should I do if my deposit does not appear?
Contact the casino's support with your transaction reference and a screenshot of the confirmation. Do not pay a second time. Keep your bank record too, since it shows the date, amount and recipient details.
